Incredible Things To Do in Uganda | Activities & Attractions

Uganda offers world-class wildlife encounters, notably mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park. Adventure seekers can raft the Nile in Jinja, while nature lovers can explore Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park’s boat cruises, and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Uganda! A land of lush pastures, ethereal glens, and jagged peaks. In this region, you can see lions stalking their prey over meadows, hippos lazing in the shallows, and mountain gorillas making their way purposefully through dense forests. In this point on its journey across Africa, the Nile changes from the placid waters of Lake Victoria to the raging torrents it is known for today.

Uganda, a country in East Africa that is less well-known and less-visited than some of its neighbors, is full of surprises and delights. You should know that already because you’re reading this site. You’re probably here because you’re considering a trip to Uganda, or maybe you’ve even already planned one, and you’re wondering what the best attractions are. In that case, you’ve found the ideal place to be.

As readers of this site know, I spent four months working and living in Uganda. During that time, I was able to get to know the nation rather well. During that period, I made it a point to see as many of Uganda’s sights as I could, and at the trip’s end, I embarked on a two-week excursion throughout the country to see the sights.

I’ve made a list of them all now. All of these places and activities have been personally researched and recommended by me because I have been there, done that, blogged about it, photographed it, and even written about it for Lonely Planet.

So, without further ado, I present the following list of the Top Activities in Uganda.
