Day 1: Journey to Bwindi
- Depart from Kampala or Entebbe International Airport and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

- The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours, so arriving in the evening is common for the first night.
- You’ll stay overnight in a lodge near Bwindi.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on trekking rules.
- Begin the trek into the forest to search for a habituated gorilla group.
- You will spend one hour observing the gorillas once they are found.
- After the trek, you will return to the park offices for a certificate and then head back to your lodge.
Day 3: Return Journey
- After breakfast, you will begin the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe.
- Some tours include a stop at Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation or a boat cruise.
- You will arrive back in Kampala or at the airport in the late afternoon.
